Faith Without Works is Dead

We are continuing our lesson about revelation. First, we learned that nothing new in your life starts without a revelation from God. Second, we learned that every new revelation from God should turn you into a worshiper. The third lesson was when God reveals Himself to you He reveals something about His nature. The fourth lesson was every revelation from God comes with a promise. The fifth lesson was God’s revelations are always accompanied by instructions.

Our final lesson is this: God does not reveal Himself or speak to you so that you can sit there and do nothing. When God speaks or reveals Himself, He wants you to involve yourself in His work. He reveals Himself to you so that your faith will increase, which should lead you to action. Remember, “faith without works is dead.”James 2:26 (NASB)

One last thing, listen attentively and carefully to what God is revealing to you about Himself. This will become critical when you encounter a crisis because that is when you will have to believe that God can do what He said He could do.
