To connect is to link or to have relationship between people or things. Another word for connections is ties. Who and what you are connected to will determine your level of success! Many of us are connected to people and things that keep us from moving forward or becoming the man or woman God created us to be.
In order for us to move forward, we need to sever the connection to anything or anyone that’s keeping us from moving forward. Listen to what the Bible teaches about connections. “Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 6:14 (NLT)
What or who are you tied or connected to? This is the most relevant question that can be asked of us because who we are connected to will determine our level of success or failure. Every connection will either pull you away from Jesus or pull you closer to Him. Severing lifelong connections is not easy, but God will give you the ability and the will to cut that connection. It’s time to evaluate all of your connections. Remember, if you fail to cut unhealthy connection, you fail to move forward.
Who are you connected to?
