      A promise is a declaration that something will or will not be done, or given, it’s also an expressed assurance on which expectation is to be based. As I continue our lessons about revelation, let me summarize what we have learned so far. First, we learned that nothing new in your life starts without a revelation from God. Second, every new revelation from God should turn you into a worshiper. Third, when God reveals Himself to you, He reveals something about His nature.

      The fourth lesson about revelation is every revelation from God comes with a promise! To Abraham he promised multiplication.

      “I will establish My covenant between Me and you, And I will multiply you exceedingly.” Genesis 17:2 (NASB) The Hebrew word for multiply is “rabah“; meaning to be or become much, to become many or to become great.

      To Moses, He promised success. “Therefore, come now, and I will send you to Pharaoh, so that you may bring My people, the sons of Israel, out of Egypt.” Exodus 3:10 (NASB)

      Every revelation from God comes with a promise, and revelation comes from the Word of God, the Bible.
