As we approach the end of another year, let us thank God for all He has done for us. Not only has He kept us, but He has brought us out of many difficult and impossible situations. All we need to do is look back to the start of the year and see how the Lord has delivered us from things and situations. For that, I say thank you, Lord! Not only has the Lord brought us out, but like the Israelites, He is bringing us into a better situation in the year to come.
“Then you must tell them, ‘We were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt, but the Lord brought us out of Egypt with his strong hand. The Lord did miraculous signs and wonders before our eyes, dealing terrifying blows against Egypt and Pharaoh and all his people. He brought us out of Egypt so he could give us this land he had sworn to give our ancestors.'” Deuteronomy 6:21-23 (NLT)
As we enter this new year, get ready for God to bring you into your promise. What has God promised you? What are you expecting God to do for you in the new year? Get ready to walk into new territories, blessings and possession in this new year. The Lord did not bring you out of your problems to leave you in the wilderness, but He brought you out so that you can possess new territories.
Get ready!
Be Blessed,
Bishop Jemmott
