I have often heard people say that the Bible does not recognize or give women their proper place. Well, I disagree. The Bible honors women and gives them a strong voice. Take Esther for example; she was a courageous woman who saved her people from extinction. When confronted by the extinction of her people, she fasted and prayed. A woman who fasts and prays is a power person in God’s hand.
After Esther fasted and prayed, she put her plans into motion. Once you have strong faith and trust in God, you can put your plans into action, trusting that God will grant you success. Like Esther, you need to walk into the presence of the king even when you are not qualified to enter. Esther gives us four key lessons on what to do during difficult circumstances.
1. In difficult circumstances, we can trust the Lord for His guidance.
2. In difficult circumstances, we must trust the Lord for protection.
3. In difficult circumstances, we must trust the Lord for strength and help.
4. In difficult circumstances, we must trust the Lord for wisdom.
Are you experiencing difficult circumstances? Like Esther, go to God in fasting and prayer. While you are praying and fasting, present your plans before the Lord. The next step is to execute the plan having faith and trust in God.
