Jesus had been preaching and teaching all day to over 5,000 people. Not wanting to send them home, He told the disciples to give them something to eat. The disciples informed Jesus that their resources were limited and consisted of a few loaves and fish, which could not feed such a large crowd. “There’s a young boy here with five barley loaves and two fish. But what good is that with this huge crowd?”John 6:9 (NLT) The disciples had their focus on the limited resources provided by the boy’s “five barley loaves and two fish.”
To focus is to have a central point, or your point of attraction. The disciples’ central point of view was the fact that five loaves and two fish could not possibly feed over 5,000 people. Many of us are like the disciples; we are focusing on our limited resources. When you focus on your limited resources, you will miss your multiplication miracle. Here is the key to your multiplication miracle: Put your limitation in Jesus’ hands!
If you put your limited resources into the hands of the Lord, you will not only see it multiply and become a blessing to many, but you will also receive a surplus.
If Jesus said it, it means that it is possible. Stop looking at your limitation and put it in the hands of Jesus!
