God Answers Prayer

Warranties are costly, limited and eventually expire. The one thing that does not expire is prayer. Yes! Prayer does not expire and is not limited by time. When we pray and ask the Lord for something, we must believe. When we don’t see the manifestation, believe; when it seems physically impossible, believe. Zechariah and Elizabeth are proof that prayers never expire. “But the angel said, ‘Don’t be afraid, Zechariah! God has heard your prayer. Your wife, Elizabeth, will give you a son, and you are to name him John.'” Luke 1:13 (NLT)

Did you see what the angel said? “God has heard your prayer.” That was not a recent prayer uttered by Zachariah. He uttered that prayer when he and his wife were young and could bear children, but nothing happened; his wife never became pregnant. When he looked at his condition, he had stopped praying because of his age, but God heard his prayer and held the answer up until the time was right. Just because you have not received an answer does not mean that God has forgotten you.

What have you asked God for that you are still waiting on? Stay faithful and believe; your prayers never expire. God will do the impossible!
