From Bishop Jemmott’s book Words of Encouragement: Book One

      One of the best definitions for revelation is a divine or supernatural disclosure to humans. Today I continue with my second lesson about revelation. The first lesson was that nothing new in your life starts without a revelation from God. Today’s lesson: every revelation will lead you into worship.

      After God revealed Himself to Abram, the first thing he did was build an altar. “So he built an altar there to the Lord who had appeared to him.” Genesis 12:7 (NASB) He did not write a book or go on the preaching circuit, he simply built an altar and worshiped God. When God revealed Himself to Moses, he fell to his face and worshiped Him. “Then He said, ‘Do not come near here; remove your sandals from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.’ He said also, ‘I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ Then Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God.” Exodus 3:5-6 (NASB)

      When you receive a new revelation from God, the first thing you should do is worship Him! Remember, revelation comes from the Word of God, the Bible!
