We are called to be servants! Your service to other believers demonstrates your service to God. How is your service to other believers? Does your service measure up to the teachings of the Bible? The Apostle Paul gives us the pattern of how we should serve one another. “Through love serve one another.” Galatians 5:13 (NASB)

      As I continue our lessons on biblical relationships, we read Paul’s admonition to the church.

“Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality.”
Romans 12:10-13 (NASB)

      “Serving the Lord” is the next principle. As I said earlier, every believer is called to serve God with a sense of priority and integrity. We don’t serve Him in our own strength, but we serve through His power and strength. But how do I demonstrate my service to God? By serving my brothers and sisters in Christ! Like Paul, all the spiritual power we need to serve Christ and others comes from Him. “That’s why I work and struggle so hard, depending on Christ’s mighty power that works within me.” Colossians 1:29 (NLT)

      Remember, serve one another!
