“Sowing Seed”

October 13, 2015

I was walking my dog early Saturday morning praying and contemplating on the current season in my life. I am about to turn 60, and I began to question God about all of the disappointments and challenges I am currently experiencing. Like most people, I started complaining. Yes, I was complaining; I was questioning God.

However, the Lord ignored my complaining and said the following to me: “In the next 60 days you are going to experience the unexpected. There is going to be a reversal of the current trend. The church will experience increased growth, increased finances, and an increase of My presence in the life of the people and the church. You will experience an increase in miracles, increase in healing and deliverance.” God promised me that I would experience more growth in the next 15 years of ministry than I have experienced in the first 15 years. To activate this word in my life, the Lord said, “Sow a seed of $60.00 and share this with the body of Christ.”

Now, the sharing part was hard for me to do, so I kept quiet until Sunday. That’s when my wife preached a sermon that confirmed the Word the Lord gave to me. She preached and sealed the Word with Amos 9:13 (MSG)

“‘Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.’ God’s Decree. ‘Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once-and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills.'”

So here is my challenge to the body of Christ: Sow a seed to BRJ Ministries or to the church or ministry you are connected to. Now, I know what some will say; you don’t have to sow a seed to be blessed by the Lord. If you feel this way, this word is NOT for you. If you are in agreement and sow your seed, expect “Things to happen so fast that your head will swim”.

Click here to sow a seed. Send me your testimonies of how God has made this word come to pass in your life!

Be blessed,
Bishop Jemmott
