The subject of money is very controversial with believers. Some believe that money is evil, but that is not what the Bible teaches. The Bible teaches that the love of money is the root of all evil, not money (1 Timothy 6:10). The preacher, King Solomon says that money is the answer to everything (Ecclesiastes 12:19). Yes, money is not evil, and it can be the answer or solution to many problems. However, show me a person that has money without wisdom, and I will show you someone who is soon parted from his money.

      Solomon also writes the following about wisdom and money: “Wisdom is even better when you have money. Both are a benefit as you go through life. Wisdom and money can get you almost anything, but only wisdom can save your life.” Ecclesiastes 7:11-12 (NLT)

      The combination of wisdom and money can accomplish much. The benefit of having money is obvious, but having money and wisdom is far better than just having money. While money answers many things, it will not prevent you from losing your life. Wisdom, on the other hand, will save your life. Before you ask the Lord for money, ask Him for the wisdom to handle the money first.
