Conduct With Unbelievers

Conduct With Unbelievers

September 28, 2015

Have you ever reacted in a certain manner, only to have people question your reaction by saying, “I thought you were a Christian?” That’s because the world is not reading the Bible, they are reading your life. While many have wrong preconceived notions of how a believer should act or respond, nevertheless your life is what they are looking at, and we should live a life worthy of Christ.

Your best witness for Christ is how you live your life in everyday situations. People are more influenced by what they see than what we say. The Bible says the following: “Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone.” Colossians 4:5-6 (NLT)

This text tells us how believers should conduct themselves among unbelievers. First, we must seize every opportunity to share our faith in Christ. Second, we must guard what we say; our conversation should be gracious and attractive. When your conversation is gracious and attractive, unbelievers want to hear what you have to say.

Remember, your walk must be equal to your talk!

Be Blessed,

Bishop Jemmott
