We live in a day when people are desperately seeking help, encouragement and someone to rescue them. People are sinking deeper into the sand under the weight of heavy burdens, under constant and brazen temptation, unimaginable evil, and a growing insensitivity and indifference to it all. In addition, our personal problems are overwhelming our spirits. Today, we have problems such as dissatisfaction, emptiness and feeling like we have no purpose. The answers to these feelings can be found in the Word of God.

Jesus had an encounter with such a person; she was dissatisfied with the life she was living. Jesus told her all about her life and choices she had made. He confronted her with all her mistakes. “…For you have had five husbands, and you aren’t even married to the man you’re living with now…” John 4:18 (NLT)

At the well, she met the seventh Man in her life who did not minister to her flesh but ministered to her spirit. He pointed out that she had five previous men in her life and was living with man number six, but wasn’t satisfied. When she met the seventh Man, Jesus, her life was changed. She dropped her waterpot and became a waterpot. She received new life from Jesus; then she ran into the city to tell the good news. Only Jesus can satisfy!
